Diane attended University of Michigan and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She Diane Sassonreceived a Master’s Degree in Health and Human Services from St. Mary’s University in Minnesota. She has worked in the field of gerontology for over 30 years and specifically, in care management for over 15 years. Ms. Sasson developed and implemented the geriatric care management program at Jewish Family Service of Metropolitan Detroit.

Ms. Sasson uses her professional experience and numerous contacts throughout the metropolitan area to assist her clients in the coordination of health care and in improving the quality of their daily lives. Diane has been a member of the National Association of Geriatric Social Workers for over fifteen years in the national, Midwest, and local chapters. Ms. Sasson is the Program Chairperson for Geriatric Social Workers of Michigan plans and implements the programs for this organization. Diane is a member of SCAN  (Senior coordinating Aging Network)both in Oakland and Macomb counties and a member of the eastside networking group.

In addition to her geriatric experience, Diane has extensive background in the field of mental health. For five years, she served as the lead social worker in the Senior Treatment Program at Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Diane provides relief for the clients and the families of those with mental illness.

Sasson Senior Services can provide a one time assessment in your home or can provide on-going care management for the long term. A variety of care management options are available. Sasson Senior Services assists in coordination of health care needs and enhancing the quality of life. By helping clients obtain transportation, socialization, house cleaning, home health care, home repair, and other services, Diane takes some of the stress off their shoulders.
